In the month of Ramadan following his conversion, Haddad traveled to London where he met Kabbani’s teacher and father-in-law, Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani of Cyprus, and accepted him as his spiritual guide of the Naqshbandi Spiritual Order.
