This is a reread lost count on how many Wreb I have read it there is no such thing as a free lunch. I requested this from my local library last December. The blind woman received what she needed because she wanted it, to feel loved, and respected, and appreciated and not forgotten.
Just a lovely little story that shows what a great writer Paul Auster is. As it got dark, I walked up there, book again in pocket. But that seemed to fit this story of an old blind woman and the gentle lies we tell each other and tell ourselves to get from one day to another.
